PROJECTS IN DEVELOPMENT
Pink Smoke
TV series, Comedy

When a potentially toxic, pink smoke engulfs a Melbourne suburb, unfortunate timing leaves an unlikely combination of strangers trapped in the one house. The diversity of the unwittingly trapped prisoners includes differences in gender, race, age, temperament and, most crucially ... politics. While the team grapple with the claustrophobia and boredom of being trapped in one space, they also have to tolerate the company of individuals they wouldn’t normally spend time with. Relationships develop, debates ensue, and misunderstandings are frequent in this fast paced, indoor farce. While they struggle with the most domestic of troubles they also deal with isolation, a food shortage, political tension, a lack of personal space and even the forming of their own government.

When a primary school announces the forming of a new student council two best friends become competitive political revivals in a turbulent campaign for leader that takes the playground by storm. Think Veep, but for children (6-12); a farcical live action political comedy/drama starring primary school aged children. Aaron Sorkin ‘walk and talks’ down school hallways, campaign meetings at lunchtime and lots of playground politics.
